Emirates is increasing its flight frequency between Dubai and Toronto with an additional two flights per week, following the recent air transport agreement between the United Arab Emirates and Canada. Starting from April 20, there will be daily flights on this popular route to cater to the significant demand for passenger services.
As bilateral relations between the United Arab Emirates and Canada continue to improve, there are significant economic benefits for both countries across multiple sectors and supply chains. This has prompted the move to increase flight frequency between Dubai and Toronto.
Hopefully travelers would see lower fares
Fares to India and Pakistan from Toronto have sky rocketed to around $3000 roundtrip even in off-season. Same fares used to be around $1400-$1500 during off-seasons. Hopefully this would easy some burden on the travelers.
Emirates has been operating flights between Dubai and Toronto since 2007, and even with the deployment of the double-decker A380 aircraft in 2009, demand for travel from leisure and corporate travelers, diaspora, and students has consistently exceeded capacity. With the expanded air transport agreement between the United Arab Emirates and Canada, Emirates sees this as a turning point in their strategy to improve customer service by providing more options and flexibility to meet the high demand across their growing network.
